Logistics Manager
Tachov plant is a part of KDK group specializing in desing and manufacturing of plastic parts, especially center consoles and armrests for car interiors. We deliver to car producers such as Škoda Auto, Audi, BMW, VW and others. We are currently looking for a new colleague on the position:
What will be your main tasks
- Manage logistics, transportation and customer service
- Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers
- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
- Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments
- Resolve any arising problems or complaints
- Supervise, coach and train logistics workforce
- Communicate with incoming warehouse and expedition
- Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
- Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
- Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements
We are looking for a person with..
- Proven 5 years of working experience in logistics (as Specialist / Coordinator/ Manager)
- Communicative knowledge of English (German language is a big advantage)
- Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
- Proficient in standard logistics software
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
